Aperture:f/2.8
Focal Length:60mm
ISO:200
Shutter:1/0 sec
Camera:Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XS

Used a 60mm digital macro for this shot at my Uncle Bill’s cabin last winter. This was pretty much my first experiment with close-up photography.

Bill is an amazing photographer and an important influence for me in a number of areas. This summer we got to take a trip up to Mountain View together so he could scout some locations for a portrait. It was a hot day and we didn’t shoot an awful lot, but there was some great conversation and I was honored to be asked to go. I’m looking forward to my next trip back to Arkansas and another chance to hang out with him. I always learn something new and I always enjoy myself, so how can you beat that?
