I took a trip to Las Vegas in March. For personal reasons, I haven’t taken a look at many of the photos I took until recently. I didn’t care for the city itself too much, but I did enjoy a couple of side trips, including one to Red Rock Canyon just outside of town in Clark County, Nev.

The rocks themselves are Aztec sandstone with the red color actually coming from oxidation (literally rusty rocks).

I’ve got several other images I’m working on. Hopefully they’ll be up soon.
